Ryo, the Kai-ken

Dog/Wolf: Kai-ken, a rare Japanese tiger-striped breed of dog.

Appearance: He has a scar on his snout, and the right side of his face is terrible torn. His right ear has been ripped to shreads, and he has bears a cross-shaped scar on the same eye. His whole body is littered with wounds due to his childhood beatings and his fights. A lot skinnier.
Personality: Ryo is a powerful dog who believes greatly in loyalty, however he doesn't flinch when it comes to killing, especially if it is adults who mistreat younger canines. To have him on your side is a great advantage, for he is strong and smart. To look at his behaviour and body for only a few moments would lead one to think he was heartless, but in reality he is
History: Ryo was an only child, whose mother died soon after his birth. It was up to his father to take care of him, but all he was used for a tool for stealing. Whenever he failed to retrieve food or upset him, he was beaten severely, to such that he would come close to death. It became apparent to him when he was three months old that his father was a coward, and he left him. He never regretted that choice.

Despite his young age, he became the leader of a group of dogs, all under two years of age, some still pups that he had found being mistreated by parents. Because of his past he became closer to these dogs, and soon they became a powerful pack where they lived. Humans, being humans, saw them as a potential threat, and for their own safety went out to murder the dogs that sometimes took sheep and behaved like wolves. When they came, Ryo could do nothing but watch as his companions were mercilessly slaughtered. His pack managed to save him at the cost of their lives, much against his will. He then began to travel, lost and confused, till he came to the forest.
